Understanding Product Metrics

Views (Widget Opens)

  • What it means: Customers clicked "Try On" button on this product page

  • Indicates: Customers actively engaging with feature

  • Formula: Should be close to Views (if not, check for technical issues)

  • Follow-up opportunity: Retarget these customers

Conversion Rate

Identifying Product Issues

High Views but Low Try-Ons

Problem: Customers open widget but don't complete try-on

Possible Causes:

  • Product images don't meet requirements (no model face visible)

  • Technical errors during upload/processing

  • Slow processing time causing abandonment

  • Credit balance depleted

Solutions:

1

Review product images β€” ensure model photo shows clear face

2

Test try-on yourself to verify functionality

3

Ensure credit balance is sufficient

No Engagement Despite Traffic

Problem: Product page gets traffic but zero widget views

Possible Causes:

  • Button not installed on this product page

  • Button not visible (hidden, off-screen, tiny)

  • Product images don't support try-on (no model photos)

  • Site-specific filtering excluding this product

Solutions:

  1. Visit product page yourself, verify button appears

  2. Check button placement and visibility

  3. Verify product ID matches between page and dashboard

  4. Check site configuration filters (if you've set category/product type filters)

Optimizing Product Performance

For High-Performers

Actions:

  • Feature prominently: Homepage, collection pages, ads

  • Study success factors: What makes these images work?

  • Apply learnings: Use similar model photos for other products

  • Retargeting: Export downloaders for paid ads

  • Social proof: Use in marketing ("Most tried-on item!")

  • Inventory: Ensure adequate stock

For Medium-Performers

Actions:

  • A/B test: Try different button text or placement

  • Image updates: Replace or add better model photos

  • Positioning: Move try-on button higher on page

  • Incentivize: "Try on & get 10% off!"

  • Monitor: Track changes to see impact

For Low-Performers

Actions:

  • Replace images: Priority #1, get better model photos

  • Test thoroughly: Does try-on actually work well?

  • Consider removal: If product doesn't suit AI try-on, remove button from that page

  • Relaunch: After fixes, promote to see if performance improves

  • Analyze feedback: Do customers report issues?

Troubleshooting Product Data

Product Not Appearing in Dashboard

  • Reason: No one has tried it yet

  • Solution: Widget must be installed and used at least once for product to appear

Incorrect Product Information

  • Reason: Data attributes on button have wrong values

  • Solution: Update button HTML with correct data-product-id, data-product-name, etc. See Button Customization

Products Duplicated

  • Reason: Inconsistent product IDs (e.g., "shirt-123" and "Shirt-123" tracked separately)

  • Solution: Standardize product IDs across your site (case-sensitive)

Metrics Don't Match Expectations

  • Check date range filter

  • Verify timezone settings from your profile

  • Ensure you're comparing same time periods

  • Contact support if persistent issues
