Understand AI credits, purchase packages, manage billing, and track usage for your TrialClouds account.


What are AI Credits?

AI Credits are the currency used to power virtual try-on processing.

1 Credit = 1 Try-On Image

When a customer:

  • Uploads their photo βœ… (free)

  • Selects product and clicks "Try On" βœ… (free)

  • AI processing completes βœ… β†’ 1 credit consumed

  • Downloads result image βœ… (free)

Only successful try-on processing consumes credits. Uploads, previews, downloads, or failed attempts do NOT consume credits.

  • Real-time updates as credits are used

Access Credits & Billing

  • Click "Billing" in left sidebar

  • See detailed credit information:

    • Current Balance

    • Total Credits Purchased

    • Total Credits Used

    • Total Credits Remaining

    • Free Credits (if applicable)

Credit Types

Free Credits

  • Included with new accounts (e.g., 50 free credits to start)

  • Promotional credits from campaigns

  • Never expire

  • Used first before purchased credits

Purchased Credits

  • Credits you buy via credit packages

  • Added to your balance immediately

  • Expire 1 year

  • Roll over month-to-month

Total Balance = Free Credits + Purchased Credits - Used Credits


How to Purchase

From Dashboard

  • Click "Buy Credits" button (top-right or Billing page)

  • Use + or - button to select numbers of credits you need to buy

  • See price and credits included

Payment Method

  • Checkout opens

  • Supports:

    • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Rupay)

    • UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm)

    • Net Banking

    • Wallets (Paytm, MobiKwik, etc.)

  • Enter payment details

Complete Purchase

  • Click "Pay Now"

  • Payment processing (instant)

  • Credits added to your account automatically

  • Receipt emailed to registered email

Confirmation

  • Success message appears

  • Balance updates immediately on dashboard

  • Transaction recorded in Credit Ledger

Payment Security: All transactions processed via Razorpay / PayPal (PCI-DSS compliant). TrialClouds never stores your payment details.

Transaction Types:

Credit Added (+):

  • Package purchase: "Purchased 500 credits (Order #xyz)"

  • Free credits: "Welcome bonus: 100 credits"

  • Refund: "Refund for failed try-on"

  • Obtained: "Campaign bonus: 50 credits"

Credit Used (-):

  • Try-on completed: "Try-on completed (Visitor: vis_abc123, Product: shirt-123)"

  • Shows which customer and product consumed credit

Adjustment:

  • Manual adjustments (rare, done by support)

  • "Credit adjustment: [reason]"


Low Balance Alerts

Avoid running out of credits mid-campaign.

Automatic Alerts:

  • Email notification when balance < 10% credits

  • Dashboard banner warning

Manual Monitoring:

  • Check dashboard daily

  • Set a personal minimum (e.g., always keep 100+ credits)

  • Purchase before weekends/holidays

What Happens When Balance Reaches Zero:

  • New try-ons will fail

  • Customers see error: "Service temporarily unavailable" or similar

  • No charges; widget simply won't process

  • ⚠️ Poor customer experience – avoid by monitoring balance!


Refunds & Support

Requesting a Refund

Valid Reasons:

  • Technical issue prevented try-on from working

  • Duplicate charge

How to Request:

Provide Details

Include:

  • Order ID or Transaction ID

  • Date of purchase

  • Reason for refund

  • Supporting details (e.g., error messages, visitor ID for failed try-on)

Support Review

  • Support reviews (usually within 24-48 hours)

  • If approved:

    • Refund processed to original payment method

Refund Policy:

  • Unused credits from recent purchase: Full refund within 30 days

  • Used credits: No refund (service was consumed)

  • Technical failures: Credits refunded or re-added

If TrialClouds offers subscription plans (e.g., monthly/annual with included credits):

Managing Subscription

Upgrading:

Upgrade Plan

  • Go to "Credits & Billing"

  • Click "Upgrade Plan"

  • Select new plan

  • Prorated charge for remaining period

  • Plan upgrades immediately

Downgrading:

  • Go to "Credits & Billing"

  • Click "Change Plan" or "Downgrade"

  • Select lower plan

  • Effective at next billing cycle (not immediate)

  • Confirmation email sent

Canceling:

Cancel Subscription

  • Go to "Credits & Billing"

  • Click "Cancel Subscription"

  • Confirm cancellation

  • Service continues until end of current billing period

  • No auto-renewal

  • Unused credits remain in account (don't expire)

Reactivating:

Reactivate

  • Go to "Credits & Billing"

  • Click "Reactivate" or "Subscribe"

  • Choose plan

  • Billing resumes immediately


Free Tier & Trial

New Account Credits

New users get:

  • 50 free credits to test the service

  • All features unlocked during trial

After Free Credits:

  • Purchase credit packages to continue

  • Or subscribe to a plan

Educational/Non-Profit Discounts

If eligible:

  • Provide proof of status (e.g., .edu email, non-profit registration) May receive:

  • Discounted credit packages

  • Free monthly credits

  • Reduced subscription rates

Tips to Reduce Credits Wasted:

  1. High-Quality Product Images

  2. Test Before Launch

    • Use your free credits to test all products

    • Fix issues before customers use live site

  3. Monitor Analytics

    • Identify low-performing products (low download rates)

    • Improve images or remove try-on from those products

    • Focus on high-converters

  4. Educate Customers

    • Instructions: "Upload a clear, front-facing photo for best results"

    • Better uploads = better results = higher satisfaction = more downloads

  5. A/B Test Button Placement

    • Ensure try-on feature is visible and accessible

    • More usage from engaged customers (higher download %) is better than many tests with no downloads

  6. Retarget Downloaders

    • Customers who download images have high purchase intent

    • They already "spent" your credits wisely

    • Focus marketing on them for highest ROI
